Designing with Metal for the Hardscape

Metals are ubiquitous in today’s hardscape and appear in a wide range of site and streetscape applications. This course explores the most commonly specified metals, their appropriate uses, and the manufacturing methods behind them.

Participants will also gain insight into the custom design process, learning how designers and manufacturers collaborate to translate conceptual ideas into durable, buildable cast-metal solutions.
